SENIOR (2014): Bolyard helped the Buffs to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after starting 20 of 22 games in the midfield. She had three goals and two assists on 21 shots. Bolyard scored twice in a 3-0 win at UNLV on Aug. 29, including the first goal of the game. Her third goal was also the first score in a 3-0 win over Detroit on Sept. 7. She added assists against Bryant (2-0 win) and Oregon State (1-0 win).

JUNIOR (2013): Bolyard was an important part of the Buffs’ strong Pac-12 Conference and post-season performances. She played in all 23 games, making 15 starts, starting all of the Buffs’ final 10 games. Bolyard recorded three points off nine shots and four shots on goal. She came off the bench to assist CU’s third goal in their 4-0 stomping of St. Mary’s. She was the difference maker in Colorado’s 2-1 upset of No. 19 BYU in the NCAA Round of 32. Bolyard netted the game-winner in the 34th minute, helping the Buffs to an early 2-0 lead and an eventual spot in the Sweet 16 for just the second time in the history of the program. For her post-season heroics, she was named a CU Athlete of the Week.  

SOPHOMORE (2012): Bolyard played in 15 games, making three starts. She took three shots, all in consecutive games against Northwestern, Denver and Cincinnati. She played a season-high 68 minutes against Oregon State (0-2) before a knee injury sidelined her for the remainder of the season.  

FRESHMAN (2011): Bolyard was the only freshman to start 18 of her 19 games played. In 1,158 total minutes, she made 22 shots, nine of which were on goal. The highlight of her season came in the very first game, a 5-0 shutout against Colorado College in the Colorado Cup. She helped the Buffs to the win with one assist and the game-winning goal. She was the only freshman to hit a game-winner in the 2011 season. Bolyard played a season-high 110 minutes in the Buffs’ 2-2 match against Auburn on September 16. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Bolyard was a four-year All-Front Range Conference selection for Monarch High School, earning first team honors as a sophomore (2009) and three second team awards (2008, ‘10 and ‘11). As a sophomore she was also second team all-region. During her junior year she was the team’s offensive MVP. Bolyard earned all-academic accolades all four years of high school as well. She played midfield/forward under coach Gianna DeSaverio, a former CU soccer player (2007-08). She played for the Arsenal and Pride Predators Club teams. In 2006, her Arsenal team won the Schwan’s USA Cup Tournament. In 2007 and ‘08, her team made it to the Colorado State Cup semi-finals. While she played with the Predators, her team won the league title. She also has Olympic Development Program experience as a member of the state team (2008-10). She was in the Region IV pool in 2008 and ‘09. Her team was Region IV champions in 2010 after making the finals the two previous years (2008 and ‘09). She was a national ODP champion in 2010 as she made the Colorado Girls first team. She also lettered in basketball at MHS for two seasons and earned all-academic awards her freshman and sophomore years.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Bolyard majors in speech, language and hearing sciences.

PERSONAL: She is the only daughter of Rick and Jennifer Bolyard of Louisville, Colo. She has an older brother, Corey, and a younger brother, Colton. When she’s not playing soccer, Bolyard enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding and hanging out with friends. She is a member of the

National Honor Society and Girls Group. She hopes to either play soccer professionally or coach after graduation.
