SENIOR (2017): Scheid saw action in 15 matches as a reserve left-outside midfielder, helping the Buffs reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament and break school records for shutouts (14) and goals-against average (0.61). She recorded one assist and was on the pitch for 234 minutes. During her time on the field, the Buffs outscored opponents 3-0. Scheid recorded her first career assist in a 6-0 win over UC Riverside on Aug. 27, seeing a season-high 35 minutes of action. She also played 25 minutes in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 17 and saw 24 minutes of action against Texas and Denver during the regular season. Scheid earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention with a 3.66 GPA.
 
JUNIOR (2016): Scheid sat out the season due to NCAA transfer rules.
 
BEFORE CU: Scheid played as an amateur in the second division of the Bundesliga in Germany for two years. She started all 20 matches and was a team captain for Hessen Wetzlar in 2015-16 and led the team to the Regionaligga title and promotion to Bundesliga 2 and the Hesse Cup championship after the 2014-15 season.
 
FRESHMAN (2013): She played her freshman season at Ashford University in 2013 where she was third on the team in scoring with four goals and four assists, while starting all 17 matches. She led the team to a 13-4 record and had a season-high two goals in a 4-0 win over AIB College of Business on Sept. 8.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Scheid graduated from Goethe Schule in Wetzlar, Germany.
 
IN THE CLASSROOM: Scheid is majoring in ecology and evolutionary biology at CU. She earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention as a senior and has a 3.66 cumulative GPA.
 
PERSONAL: Hannah Scheid was born on Nov. 10, 1994, in Wetzlar, Germany, to Wolfgang Scheid and Martina Bangel. She has an older brother Max and a young sister Pauline and is bilingual in German and English after growing up in Germany. She enjoys reading and skiing and chose the University of Colorado because of its high performance in sports and studies.
