Senior (1998): Fildey started all 20 games on defense as a senior. She attempted one shot on the season and helped the Buffs to five clean sheets.

Junior (1997): Fildey started each of the Buffaloes' 18 games as defender, tallying two assists on the season. She was one of just six Buffs to start every game.

Sophomore (1996): Emerged midway through the season as a powerful defensive performer for the Buffs, playing in 10 games and starting five. She finished the season wearing a mask to protect a broken nose she suffered in a late season practice.

High School: A four-year letterwinner at Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Colo., Fildey was named all-league her junior and senior years. She was an honorable mention all-state selection as a senior, and was tabbed Evergreen's Most Valuable Player on defense as a sophomore and junior and the team's overall MVP as a senior. Evergreen compiled a 36-11-3 record during her final three seasons, and the team also won four straight league championships during her tenure. She also utilized her impressive soccer skills for the Lakewood Fury club team, which won Europe's Vildberg Cup in 1993 and was the Fury Cup Champion in 1994. Fildey was also a 1994 Fury Junior Nationals finalist. A true student-athlete, she lettered twice in speech and debate, earning honorable mention all-state accolades. She was also Editor-in-Chief of Evergreen's yearbook, and she graduated in the top 15 percent of her class.

Personal: Born July 25, 1977, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Fildey is majoring in journalism at Colorado and was a first-team academic all-Big 12 selection in 1996. She's no stranger to tales of collegiate glory, as her father played football for the University of Manitoba. Her parents are Jim and Jill Fildey of Evergreen, Colo.
