Attended Dakota Ridge High School
Earned eight letters, four on the cross country team and four on the track and field team
Recorded back-to-back third-place finishes at the Colorado High School 5A State Cross Country Championship as a junior and senior
Helped guide the Eagles to the team state championship as a captain in 2018, as well as a first-place team finish at the Nike Cross Southwest Regional Championship, finishing third individually with a personal record (14:48.6)
His PR also doubles as the Dakota Ridge High School record
The team also ran to a third-place finish at Nike Cross Nationals, where he placed sixth overall
While competing on the cross country team, he earned three All-Jeffco Conference First Team honors and was a two-time all-state honoree
Was also selected a Nike Cross Nationals First Team All-American in 2018 and was the Jeffco League MVP in 2016 and ’17
Saw success on the track, finishing second at the state meet in the 3,200m run, improving from a fourth-place finish the previous year
Raced the 1,600 at state, finishing fifth in 2019 and eighth in 2018
Was a member of a few record setting relay teams
His 4x1600 and distance medley relay teams set the Jeffco records, while the 4x800 relay broke the school record
Following his senior campaign, he was selected the Jeffco 5A League Track MVP
