2010: Indoor: Majewski competed in five meets during the indoor season. She tied for first at the Potts Indoor Invite (1/23) with a jump of 5-02.25. Majewski’s personal best came at the Air Force Invite (2/13). She reached a height of 5-03.
Outdoor: Majewski jumped a mark of 5-00.25 at the CU Invite (4/11).
2009: Indoor: Majewski started the season at the Potts Invite and placed third in the high jump (4-11.00). The following week she took seventh in the long jump at the Air Force Duals (15-09.00).
Outdoor: Majewski came close to her PR in the high jump when she cleared a height of 5-01.00 at the Potts Invite and tied for fifth. Her personal pest in the long jump came at the CSU Ram Open when she recorded a leap of 16-03.00 for fourth place.
2008: Outdoor: Majewski competed in the outdoor season in a variety of events. At the Glenn Morris Multi-Events Meet, she recorded several season bests in the 100-meter hurdles (21.20), 200m (28.91), 800m, 2:56.46), high jump (5-02.50), long jump (15-02.25) and shot put (28-06.25).
HIGH SCHOOL: Majewski earned four letters as a member of the MHS track team where she competed in the triple and high jumps and the 800-meter run. Majewski was named the MHS Athlete of the Year.
ACADEMICS: Majewski majored in broadcast news/journalism. Majewski has a 3.508 GPA and is a member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team in 2010. She was a member of the honor roll at Mullen High School. Majewski earned the Torch Award, which is the highest academic award given at MHS, all four years.
PERSONAL: Kathleen Marie Majewski was born on April 14, 1988 in Littleton, Colo. She is the daughter of Dennis and Karen Majewski. She has one older brother Denny and a younger sister Breanna. She lists baking cakes, singing and reading as her hobbies. Majewski volunteered as a third and fourth grade basketball coach and at a homeless shelter in high school. She has also worked as a nanny. Majewski was named the homecoming queen as a sophomore and was the junior class president.
