- Sydney Mae Jordan is the daughter of Matt and Lori Jordan, and she was born in Columbus, Ohio
- Has one younger sibling, Myles, who is on the United States U19 team and is committed to LBSU for volleyball
- Mother, Lori, played volleyball at University of North Carolina (outside hitter)
- Father, Matt, played professional soccer for 13 years in MLS and Europe, and attended Clemson University
- Uncle attended CU’s business school, and two of her cousins attend CU
- Most thrilling sports moment was when her high school team made it to the 6A State Semi-finals
- Favorite pastimes and hobbies include being outdoors, stand-up paddle boarding, reading and spending time with family and friends
- Her biggest sports hero is Jordan Larson, because she has maintained a consistent level of excellence in her sport for so many years. She is such an amazing leader and volleyball player, and is someone Sydney greatly admires
- Wants to visit Greece and Sweden
- Favorite foods are pesto pasta, bananas and Mediterranean food
- Favorite singer is SZA and favorite band is Fleetwood Mac
- Fun Fact: Grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and lived there for eight years. Spoke French fluently while living there and was a competitive figure skater
- After CU, wants to either play professional volleyball, or begin a job working for a major sports media corporation
- Chose to attend CU because of the amazing facilities, people, campus, views, family atmosphere and competitive environment
