2018-19 (So.) – Redshirt. Did not compete.
2017-18 (Fr.): Murray competed in two tournaments, both as an individual, one in the fall and one in the spring. She had a stroke average of 80 in the fall. Murray shot her collegiate best round of 77, in the final round of the Branch Law/Dick McGuire Invitational in September.
High School: Murray helped Regis Jesuit to back-to-back Colorado Class 5A State Championships in 2014 and '15. She was a four-year member of the Aurora All-City Golf Team (2013-17) and lettered all four seasons at Regis. As a senior, Murray tied for ninth at the Colorado state meet with a 4-over par 76.
Other: Represented Team Colorado at the Junior America's Cup in 2014, '16 and '17. In 2017, she shot a 68, her lowest round in international competition, to help Team Colorado to its best finish (T-6th) in that event. She has competed in multiple USGA & international competitions including the IMG Academy Junior World (2013), USGA Girls Junior Amateur (2014, '17), USGA Women's State Team Championship (2015), Girls Junior PGA Championship (2017). She qualified for three Optimist International Tournaments and played in two (2015, '16). Murray participated in two Colorado Women's Opens (2016, '17).
Best Career Round In Competition: 68 (2017; Junior America's Cup, Reflection Bay Golf Course, Las Vegas)
Academics: Murray is majoring in computer science and owns a GPA greater than 3.00. In high school, Murray was a four-time Colorado Academic All-Star.
Personal: Jaclyn Murray was born on January 9, 1999 in Denver. She is the daughter of Michael and Cassandra Murray who reside in Grand Junction, Colo. She is the third person in her family to attend CU. In her spare time, Murray enjoys playing piano, fly fishing, skiing and cooking with her Oma. She is involved in her community by doing service with Special Olympics. Murray loves the challenge of golf because "no shot is ever the same." She chose Colorado because it is close to home, provides great academics and has a great golf program.
