College—2017-18 (Sr.): He finished third on the team in stroke average (71.73), which was also good for the fifth-best for a single-season at Colorado; his 72.92 career mark would have been fourth on that list, but he fell short of the minimum number of rounds needed (he had 71; 75 is the minimum).  He had 33 of his 37 rounds count toward team scoring (89.2, tied for third on the Buffs), with his 16 subpar rounds tied for second.  He led the team in pars (436) and was second in eagles with five; 83.3 percent of his holes played were either subpar or par, tied for second-best (555 of 666).  His six top 20 finishes also tied for second, four of which came in the spring when he averaged 72.0 strokes for 25 rounds.  He tied for sixth in Kansas State’s Bighorn Invitational (209, -7); tied for 12th in the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate (211, -5); tied for 13th in the Amer Ari Invitational (208, -8, with his low round for the spring, a 5-under 67, in the final round); and a tie for 19th in the NCAA West Regional (214, -2).  He was under par in six events and even in a seventh out of 12 on the season.  He enjoyed a solid fall, posting a 71.17 stroke average for 12 rounds which was second on the team as well as the seventh-best figure for a fall season in CU history (and 30th in scoring for the region).  In posting his best finish as a collegian, a runner-up effort in CU’s own Mark Simpson Invitational, he tied three other before him for the best 54-hole score in school history with a 12-under par (65-70-79—204) performance (the 7-under 65 in the opening round was also his collegiate single-round best); that win earned him CU’s Male Athlete of the Week honor.  He was consistent across the board tying for second in par-3 scoring (2-under), for fifth in par-5 scoring (5-under) and for sixth in par-4 scoring (5-under).  He didn't have a hole worse than bogey.  He finished 2-under par (214) in tying for 21st in Air Force’s Miranda Invitational, tied for 16th in New Mexico’s Tucker (220, +4) and closed the fall with an even-par effort in Hawai’i’s Princeville Intercollegiate.

2016-17 (Jr.): He played in 12 of CU’s 13 tournaments on the season (all six in the fall), finishing fifth in scoring average (74.21); he had 25 of his 34 rounds count toward team scoring (73.5 percent).  His best finish was right out the gate, tying for third in CU’s Ballyneal Challenge with a 140 score (-2; 70-70).  He tied for 19th in New Mexico’s Tucker Invitational, where his 71-76-74—221 (+5) score was the second-best posted by a Buffalo.  His next best finish was his best for the spring season, when he tied for 20th in the Pac-12 Championships at Boulder Country Club (73-72-73—218, +8); he was steady all three rounds as he finished with five birdies and 38 pars (fifth-most in the field) against nine bogeys and two doubles (and his 11 holes of bogey or higher – nine single, two doubles – was a team low).  His best 54-hole meet in relation to par came at Wyoming’s Desert Intercollegiate, where he finished 1-over (69-75-73—217) and tied for 22nd.  In the fall, he was sixth on the team in scoring average (73.56), with all but one round scored between 70 and 76.  He was 1-1-1 in match play competition at UCLA’s Gifford Collegiate, where he tied for 38th in the stroke play portion (75-74).  His 72.17 scoring average for first rounds tied for third-best on the team.

2014-15/2015-16 At Kansas (Fr./Soph.): He played in four events as a true freshman at Kansas during the 2014-15 season, owning a 74.09 stroke average for 11 rounds; he tied for 25th on two occasions as his top finishes.  In 2015-16, he competed in two fall tournaments, with a 76.0 average for six rounds.  His college low round was a 70 at the Louisiana Classics as a frosh.

High School—He led Regis to the Colorado state 5A championship in 2012 and 2013, claiming medalist honors as a senior with a 66-72—138 score (6-under).  He tied for second as a junior with a 75-71—146 (4-over) performance.

Other—2017: He tied for fourth in the Saguaro Amateur, turning in a 70-67-72—209 (-7) scorecard on the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Course (Maricopa, Ariz.).   In the Southwestern Amateur at Desert Mountain CC (Scottsdale, Ariz.), he tied for 43rd with a 73-69-69-73—284 (+4) effort.  2016: He tied for second in the Colorado Golf Association Amateur, turning in a 69-72-69-72—282 (+2) at Boulder Country Club (he was five shots out of the lead).  He tied for 14th in the Southwestern Amateur, carding a 69-68-73-70—280 scorecard (even par) at the Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale; he made 20 birdies in the event.  He placed 23rd overall in the Wyoming Open and was the second low amateur with a 69-71-67—207 effort (3-under).  2015: He won the U.S. Amateur qualifier at Columbine Country Club, turning in a 67-69—136 (8-under) scorecard.  He also tied for 47th overall in the 2015 Colorado Open, the ninth low amateur, with an even-par 71-69-76-72—288 effort.  2013: He was the Colorado Junior Golf Association’s Player of the Year for his efforts both in summer junior play as well as for his high school accomplishments.  That summer, he also claimed wins in the CJGA Tournament of Champions and in the CJGA Collegiate Invitational and qualified to play in the U.S. Junior Amateur Match Play.  He was named to the All-Colorado golf team for both 2012 and 2013.

Best Career Round In Competition—64 (-8, September 2013, Pradera Golf Club, Parker, Colo.).

Academics—He graduated in December 2018 from CU with a bachelor’s degree in Economics as well as earning a minor in Technology, Arts & Media at Colorado.  As a junior, he was named to the Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar team, while also earning honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic team honors.

Personal—He was born April 15, 1996 in Westminster, Colo.  His hobbies include skiing, hiking, watching movies and playing the occasional video game.  CU Coach Roy Edwards had recruited him when he was a high school performer at Regis Jesuit in Denver.
