Joe Schoen is in his first year as video coordinator for the University of Colorado women’s basketball team.
Schoen, 23, edits and analyzes practice and game film for the Colorado coaching staff, assisting in the creation of scouting reports. He also serves as the co-coordinator for Colorado’s Basketball Camps for Girls.
Schoen came to Colorado from the University of Maryland where he was a video intern for the women’s basketball program and the Terrapins squad that finished 26-8 in 2012-13, advancing to the NCAA Sweet 16.
He is a 2012 graduate of James Madison University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in media arts & design. While at JMU he was a practice player for the Duke’s women’s basketball program.
A native of Alexandria, Va., Schoen graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School where he lettered in swimming and lacrosse. He enjoys playing and watching sports and going to the beach.
