Sandy Barnett is in her first season as Administrative Assistant for the Colorado women’s basketball program.
Barnett is no stranger to the CU campus as she was the Athletic Ticket Office Manager from 2001-04, overseeing office and game-day student workers. Prior to coming to Colorado, Barnett worked for two years at Pharmerica as a Billing Coordinator for Medicade and nine years with St. Vrain Valley Schools as a Pharaprofessional.
A life-long resident of the Berthoud-Longmont area, Barnett is married to Dennis DeSotel. Barnett has three children (Chris, Tony & Amber), two step-children (Mike & Tabitha) and two grandchildren (Tracy & Drew).
Barnett is active in the community with service in the Boulder County 4-H and has worked for many years with children with disabilities and senior citizens. She enjoys participating in fundraisers for cancer and leukemia research and the American Heart Association.
