2017-18 (Junior): Curtis played in 13 games as a backup center as a junior, averaging 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds. She totaled 32 points, 25 rebounds and six blocked shots, while shooting 13-of-21 (.619) from the floor. She had eight rebounds and two points in a win over Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 24, tying the CU record for rebounds in a quarter with seven in the fourth. She scored a season-high eight points and had five rebounds in a win over Westminster (Mo.) on Dec. 21. One of her best performances came vs. No. 14/14 UCLA on Jan. 14 when she had six points, three blocks and two rebounds in 13 minutes. She missed much of the second half of the season with a head injury.
 
At Sierra College: Curtis led Sierra College, one of the top two-year programs in the state of California, to Big 8 Conference championships as a freshman and sophomore. In 29 games in 2016-17, she averaged 6.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocked shots as a reserve for the Wolverines. She also shot 57 percent from the floor as the team finished 26-4 overall and ranked No. 3 in the state. Curtis scored in double figures six times as a sophomore, including a season-high 19 points in a 106-83 win at American River. She also had 18 points in a 68-56 win at Santa Rosa on Jan. 24. She reached double figures in rebounds two times as well, with a season-high 12 boards in a one-point win at Ventura in December. She made a difference on the defensive end, recording at least one blocked shot in all but two games, and had a season-best five blocks against Fresno.
 
High School: At Rocklin High School, she was her team's defensive player of the year and named second-team all-conference after leading her team to a 20-9 record as a senior. She graduated in 2013. She played AAU basketball for JPS and Just Believe Sports.
 
Academics: Curtis is majoring in psychology. She would like to become a parole officer after graduation.
 
Personal: Jaimie Lynn Curtis was born on July 14, 1995, in Berkeley, Calif., to Steve and Patty Curtis. She has a twin sister Kaitlyn. She enjoys being a make-up artist outside of basketball.
