2021-22 (Senior): Tuitele started all 31 games in Colorado’s run to the NCAA Tournament…Had a season-high nine rebounds against Creighton (3/18/22) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament…Twice totaled a season-high of 16 points at Utah (1/30/22) and in the Pac-12 Tournament against Washington (3/3/22)…Surpassed 800 career points against UW in the Pac-12 Tournament…Had eight double-figure scoring games…Had a career-high four steals against Southern Utah (12/7/21)…Matched a career-high with three blocks four blocks against Oklahoma State (11/10/21) and Oregon (2/23/22)…Finished CU career with 831 points, 531 rebounds and 101 assists.

2020-21 (Junior): Played in all 23 games, starting 22…She scored in double figures in eight games…Averaged 12.0 points and 7.7 rebounds in CU’s three WNIT games…Tuitele recorded her only double-double of the season (14 pts, 10 reb.) to open the WNIT against Louisiana…Scored a season-high 15 points at Southern California (1/11/21)…Totaled 10 points and eight rebounds in CU’s win over No. 1 Stanford (1/17/21)…Handed out a career-high five assists against Nebraska (3/20/21)…Had five or more rebounds in 10 games this season…Averaged a career-high 7.9 points to go with 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

2019-20 (Sophomore): Tuitele started 22 games and played in all 3 for CU…She averaged a career-high 7.8 points per game…She was named to the Tulane Classic All-Tournament team, finishing the tournament with 17 points and 10 rebounds CU’s win over Tulane…Had a career-high four assists against Denver…was perfect from the field (5-for-5) with 10 points against Xavier…Tuitele scored in double figures nine times and had five or more rebounds in 17 games.

2018-19 (Freshman): Tuitele played the first five games of the season in a reserve role, before stepping into the starting lineup. She played 26 games, starting 19 in all. She missed the final three games of the season due to injury. She totaled season-highs in points (23) and field goals made (11) in CU’s win over Washington State (2/22). She scored in double figures 10 times this season. She scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds in her first start against Pepperdine (11/27). Posted her first career double-double (12 pts, 10 reb) against Samford (12/20). Averaged 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tuitele, a 2018 graduate, was a four-year starter at Pleasant Valley High School and was named all-state three times, as a freshman, sophomore and senior. She led her team to the state championship game as a senior after averaging 15.1 points and 9.0 rebounds, while also being named All-Northern Section MVP for the second time in her career. She scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds in the state final. As a junior, she averaged 14.7 points and 10.6 rebounds and was named all-league. In her four years, she led Pleasant Valley to a combined 94-21 record. She also led her high school volleyball team in kills.

AAU: Tuitele played for Golden Valley and TNT. She was named a JBS All-Star in Texas.

IN THE CLASSROOM: She plans on majoring in integrative physiology and is also interested in communication. She likes working with both athletes and elderly people and would like to become a physical therapist.

PERSONAL: Sirena "Peanut" Tuitele was born on Feb. 17, 2000, to Moeletoa Tuitele and Faailo Manogiamanu-Tuitele. Her father played football in college at Iowa State, Butte College and Humboldt State. She has three sisters, Sierra, Subrina and Sapphyra, and two brothers, Tafa and Syrus, who plays football at Fresno State. In her spare time, she enjoys playing racquetball and bowling. She was also involved in student government in high school. Tuitele is double-jointed, meaning she has unusually flexible joints in her body.
