Insull joined Coach Payne's staff in July 2022.

He comes to CU by way of Rice University, where he was a Creative Content Assistant for Rice Athletics. He worked primarily with soccer, volleyball and baseball, while doing select work with football, swimming and men's and women's basketball. Insull primarily created and edited short-form videos while helping to establish Rice's various social presences.
Insull graduated in 2020 from Trinity University, in San Antonio, Texas, with a degree in economics and minors in sports management and communication. While in school he worked for the Trinitonian as a photographer for a year and volunteered at the Valero Alamo Bowl and the 2018 NCAA Men's Final Four.
While at Trinity, Insull was a member of the nationally-ranked Division III baseball program. He started as a relief pitcher before his career was cut short due to COVID-19. While playing he received SCAC Academic Honor Roll in 2019 and 2020.
