Career: Befort graduated in December of 2011 with a double degree in Integrative Physiology and Business. She played in seven events and 21 rounds for the Buffaloes with a career stroke average of 80.52. She has one round shooting even par and eight total rounds in the 70s. She was twice awarded with CU’s Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, was an NCGA All-American Scholar and first-team Academic All-Big 12.

2011-12 (Jr.): Befort graduated in December 2011 and did not play in any tournaments the fall season, as she focused on finishing her degree and earned mention on CU’s 4.0 club for earning a perfect grade point average in a semester.

2010-11 (Jr.): Befort played in two tournaments as an individual during the fall season, compiling a stroke average of 80.67. She finished 36th in the Heather Farr Memorial Invitational, a new career best, and 88th in the Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic. She had three of her six rounds in the 70s.

2009-10 (So.): Befort saw action in five tournaments and 15 rounds playing individually during the 2009-10 season finishing with a stroke average of 80.47. She had five rounds in the 70s and her career-best round was an even par 72 in her last round of the season, the third round at the Indiana Invitational. Her three-round total of 235 there is her career best.

2008-09 (RS-Fr.): Befort suffered a wrist injury that was a minor setback in her development. She was sidelined for the fall portion of the season and she used the spring season to continue working on her game. She did not compete in any tournaments for the Buffaloes.

2007-08 (Fr.): Befort joined the team as a walk-on and focused on improving her game to prepare for the collegiate level. She did not compete in any tournaments for the Buffs in her first season.

High School: Befort lettered in golf all four years at Standley Lake High School under coach George Barker. She was a four-time state qualifier and earned all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. She led her team to a Jefferson County League Championship and placed 14th at State as a senior when she was the Standley Lake Athlete of the Year. Befort owns a personal-best 72 at her home course, Heritage Country Club. A dual-sport athlete, Befort also lettered two years in volleyball at Standley Lake.

Best Career Round In Competition: 72 (E; 2010 Indiana Invitational, Bloomington, Ind.).

Academics: She earned a double degree at Colorado in Integrative Physiology and Business and was one of the top academic student-athletes in her time at CU, earning CU’s Outstanding Academic Achievement Award twice, mention as an NCGA All-American Scholar and named to the first-team Academic All-Big 12 squad.. A member of the National Honors Society, Befort earned a 4.0 GPA.
