ELLIOTT ON WILLIAMS: We are excited to have Maeve in our program. She comes from a strong high school program that is very well coached. She will join her sister Aine on defense. Maeve is a hard worker, with good speed and vision on the field. We are looking forward to all she will bring to our program.

HIGH SCHOOL: A multi-sport athlete, Williams competed in lacrosse, cross country and track at Notre Dame Academy before graduating in 2019. She recorded four letters in lacrosse and helped her team to the state championship her senior year. Williams was a Catholic Conference All-Star in cross country her sophomore through senior seasons and was all-scholastic as a sophomore and junior. She was also a member of the National Honor Society.

CLUB TEAM: She played for Mass Elite (2014-19).

IN THE CLASSROOM: Williams is a pre-business major.

PERSONAL: Maeve Williams was born on August 1, 2000. Her father, John, swam at Denison, while her older sister, Aine, is also a member of the Colorado lacrosse team. She enjoys running and traveling and is a fan of the professional teams in Boston (Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins). Williams lists her favorite music as country and her favorite foods are pasta and potatoes.
