JUNIOR (2008): Goodman joined the midfield for 20 of CU's 23 games as a junior and logged a career-high 600 minutes. She played a career-high 52 minutes in the 3-2 come-from-behind overtime win against Mississippi and notched her third career start against Drake. Her first career assist came in the 4-1 over James Madison where Goodman set up former Buff Alex Cousins for the final score of the game.
SOPHOMORE (2007): Saw action in 12 of CU's 22 games and recorded her second career start against Fairfield, playing a season-high 34 minutes in the match. Goodman logged a career-high 164 minutes and managed one shot on the year.
FRESHMAN (2006): Goodman saw action in 14 of CU's 24 games, and started against Wyoming following CU's double-overtime draw with Nebraska. She managed two shots, one on goal, in the second game of the season vs. Alabama, where she also played a season high 42 minutes. Goodman played 160 minutes on the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner in her high school career, spending her first two years at Smoky Hill before transferring to Cherry Creek for her junior and senior seasons. At Smoky Hill, she lettered twice under coach Randy Freeman, winning two Centennial League championships with records of 14-3-0 as a sophomore and 12-3-1 as a freshman. At Cherry Creek, the Bruins won the 2005 Centennial League championship with a record of 12-2-3. Her club team, Real Colorado National, was a two-time State Cup champion. They won the title in 2003-04 and 2004-05, advancing to the championship game in Region IV in 2005 under coaches Lorne Donaldson and Jared Spires. While at Smoky Hill, she also ran cross country for two years, lettering twice, and lettered in basketball as a sophomore.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Goodman is sociology and communication major at Colorado and a three-time Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll selection.She earned her first Big 12 honor by being named to the First Team All-Academic.
PERSONAL: Allyson Candace Goodman was born July 5, 1988 in Denver. She is the daughter of Curtis and Pam Goodman. She has three siblings and comes from a family with two sets of twins. Her twin brother, Aric, is a kicker for the Colorado football team. She has two younger sisters, twins Maddie and Renee, who are 18. Her hobbies include playing tennis, listening to music and throwing the football around with her brother.
