SENIOR (2013): Builder did not see any game action.
JUNIOR (2012): Builder was a reserve for the Buffs, though she did not see any in-game playing time. She has eligibility remaining and will return for the 2013 season.
2011 (with CU GOLD): Builder had 42 saves and allowed just four goals. The Buffs had a 14-3-6 record, leading them to another Region V championship. At the NIRSA NCCS, the Buffs began pool play with a 2-0 win against the University of Virginia and a 1-0 win over Cornell University, giving them a No. 1 seed as they advanced out of the pool. The Buffs fell in the Round of 16 to the University of Texas in a 2-1 overtime decision.
2010 (with CU GOLD): Builder began her collegiate soccer career with the University of Colorado Gold collegiate sports club team, the winningest program in the NIRSA Championships. The Buffs finished their season at the quarterfinals of the NIRSA National Campus Championship Series, with a 21-3-4 overall record. CU Gold became the Region V champions and won the Santa Barbara and Colorado Invitationals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Builder attended Mercy High School and played both soccer and basketball. In the 2006-07 season, Builder had seven saves in three games as the Crusaders finished the season with a 9-9-1 record. The following season, the Crusaders improved to 10-4-3. Builder was also a member of the Alpine Ole' club team out of Redwood City, Calif.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Builder is majoring in marketing in the Leeds School of Business at Colorado.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Elizabeth Builder. She was born on July 14, 1991 to parents Stuart and Polly, who are a biotechnology scientist and a mathematician. She says she is surprisingly good at golf. She has two dogs. She worked with Rebuilding Together to help build a house in Tijuana, Mexico.
