2020 (Freshman): Graneld played in six matches this season...She played in a season-high 16 minutes in her debut match against Northern Colorado (2/11/21).
High School: Â Graneld spent two years in the US, playing at Harriton H.S., outside of Philadelphia, Pa...She was Second-Team All-Main Line as a freshman and improved to First-Team as a sophomore...Graneld started every game at Harriton, scoring 16 goals before moving back to Sweden.
International: Graneld has played with the U17, U18 and U19 Swedish National Teams...She was selected to the U17 EURO qualifier but could not compete due to injury...Played with Hammarby IF in Elitettan (second division).Â
In the classroom: Majoring in environmental studies and economics.Â
Personal: Daughter of Birgitta Rydell and Lars Graneld...her mother played basketball in the Swedish top league...has one older brother, Fredrik...juggled to over 9,000 when she was 14...likes to ski, travel and spend time with her family and friends...Graneld becomes Colorado’s second-ever Swedish player (Linda Wikstrom, 1999).
