FRESHMAN (2006): Doyne made 16 appearances with one start, helping the Buffs reach the third round of the NCAA Tournament and the Big 12 Tournament final. She also had six shot attempts in 332 minutes. Doyne made her only start of the season in a 2-0 win over Wyoming on Oct. 1.

HIGH SCHOOL: Doyne was a four year letterwinner and four year starter for coach Jeff Day at West Morris Mendham High School. Her team won the Iron Hills Conference championship all four years, also winning the Morris County championship in 2005. As a senior, Doyne led her team to a 20-3 record and earned a host of honors. She was a third team AP All-State selection, and was first team All-Area, All-Morris County and All-Iron Hills Conference. She played state Olympic Development in 2002 and 2003, attending regional camp in 2003. Her club team, the PDA Wildcats won four-straight Region I titles, winning the 2003 USYSA U-15 National Championship. That squad won six other tournaments that season, compiling a record of 41-3-3 and as U-16’s they won the 2003 WAGS crown. They took third at Nationals in 2004 and were national finalists in 2005 and 2006.
 
IN THE CLASSROOM: Doyne is undecided on her major at Colorado. She was a four-time member of the High Honor Roll at West Morris Mendham, and also earned the Academic Certificate of Excellence as a junior in addition to participating in the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.
 
PERSONAL: Elizabeth Anne Doyne was born December 20, 1987 in Moorestown, N.J. She is the daughter of Stephen and Nancy Doyne. Libby has two older sisters, Kate (22) a junior at Prescott College, and Maggie (19) who is volunteering at an orphanage in India and will matriculate to CU in the spring of 2007. Doyne participated in a number of volunteer programs, including working with the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Amnesty International and Students Against Drunk Driving. Colorado was her first choice for college and she did not apply anywhere else. Doyne once met Lance Armstrong at USYSA Nationals in 2006.
