Senior (2002): Galas started 18 of 20 games at forward for the Buffs, scoring three goals with two assists and 18 shot attempts. She scored twice in a season-opening 3-0 win over Fresno State on Aug. 30. She also scored at Minnesota on Sept. 8. She assisted on goals against Eastern Illinois (4-1 win) and Iowa State (1-0 win).

Junior (2001): Galas started all but five games with two goals on seven shots, Galas led the team in shot pct. (.286). She scored her first goal of the season at Fresno State and second to tie the game vs. No. 4 Nebraska in the 84th minute of play. It marked CU's first goal against the Cornhuskers since September 5, 1997, giving CU its first ever result against NU. At the end of the school year she was awarded the Speed-Strength and Conditioning Award for the 2001-02 school year.

Sophomor(2000):  Galas saw action in 13 of 19 games. She saved her best play for the end of the season when she scored her first goal of the year in a crucial match with Texas Tech. Her goal with just under 10 minutes to play gave the Buffs an insurance goal and the 2-0 win over the Red Raid­ers and bid to the Big 12 Tournament. Her single goal and assist is ranked in Colorado's all-time sophomore charts.

Freshman (1999): Galas saw action in 16 games, notching two goals on five shots to lead the team in shooting percentage with .400. She scored her first collegiate goal during the 3-0 win over Alabama­ Birmingham. Her second goal in as many games came against Wyoming, and was the game win­ner. With her two goals during the first homestand, Galas was named CU Athlete of the Week.

High School: Galas sat out much of her senior year with a broken foot after starting five games, scoring one goal and notching one assist in that time. Despite the foot injury, Galas was able to play in the state final. Her CHS squad claimed the 1999 JeffCo League Championship, and went unbeaten and unscored upon in the state tournament until the loss in the final. Galas and her Columbine team­mates earned the Denver Post's Dick Connor Ad­versity Conquered by Excellence Award for over­ coming tragedy to excel in sports. Her team finished the 1999 season with a 15-2-1 record following the tragedy at Columbine. She transferred to Columbine after her family moved to Littleton from Lake Zurich, Ill.  Her junior year at Lake Zurich under coach Scott Stieb, Galas scored 16 goals and notched four assists en route to a 22-3-2 record and all-area recognition. Her team won the regional championship in 1998 and 1997, with Galas contributing 12 goals as a sophomore as her team also reached sectional finals that year.  In all, she lettered in four sports in high school adding basketball and tennis to soccer and track. She played club for Colorado Rush and coach Walter Pratte.

In The Classroom: Galas is a geography major in Colorado's College of Arts & Sciences.

Personal: Lindsey Roanne Galas was born on August 5, 1981 in Elmhurst, Ill., and is the daughter of Roman and Joanne Galas.
