Junior (1996): Poncetta started 16 games as a midfielder and finished the year with one shot attempt. She helped the team to two shutouts.
CU Club Team: She was a member of the CU club soccer national championship team.
High School: A 1994 graduate of St. Francis High School, Mountain View, Calif., her team compiled a 54-12-6 record her last three seasons. Poncetta was named most inspirational player her senior year and was team MVP her junior campaign. She was also a first-team all-league member her junior year and won the De Anza athletics state championships her senior year.
Personal: Majoring in kinesiology, Poncetta was born June 11, 1976 in Cupertino, Calif. Her parents are Stan and Linda Poncetta of Cupertino, Calif., and her full name is Molly Kathleen Poncetta.
