SENIOR (2004): Kellogg played in 17 games with seven starts at forward, helping the Buffs to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and 15 wins. She scored two goals and had two assists in 537 minutes, while attempting 18 shots. Her first goal came in a 4-1 win over LSU on Sept. 17. She had an assist against No. 7 Texas A&M, and another in a 7-0 win vs. Texas Tech. Her final goal came in a 4-0 victory against Oklahoma on Oct. 22.

JUNIOR (2003): Kellogg redshirted the 2003 season rehabilitating a torn ACL suffered during spring drills , but netted two second-half goals at UNLV in the spring season opener.

SOPHOMORE (2002):  Coming off the bench at the right wing position for Tiffany Booth, Kellogg got her first career score off her first career shot when she fired one in the 38th minute at Texas Tech.  She would later add a shot for good measure at Nebraska.  One of Colorado’s most improved players, she played in 13 games as as sophomore compared to one her freshman season.  She tore her right ACL during spring drills.

FRESHMAN (2001):  Primarily a practice player, Kellogg came off the bench against Kansas.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Kellogg lettered four years at the midfield/forward position at Smoky Hill.  She was a second-team all league performer her senior year and voted Smoky Hill’s Most Inspirational Player her sophomore through senior seasons.  In club action she played for the Colorado Storm and Rafael Amaya, advancing to regional play in 2001.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Kellogg is a psychology major at Colorado.  She has spent six semesters on the Dean’s List and barely missed the President’s List with a 3.944 fall ?03 semester.  She will enter her junior season with a 3.594 cum.  She is a Macallister Scholar, given to student-athletes who have exhibited outstanding leadership skills for CU and in the community.

PERSONAL:  Shannon Nicole Kellogg was born Nov. 8, 1982 in Aurora, Colo..  She is the daughter of Christopher, (who played college football at Wooster) and Bonnie Kellogg of Aurora, Colo. and the younger sister of Brecken, a 2004 graduate of Concord Medical Center in Denver.  Her hobbies include snowboarding.
