2012 Spring (freshman): Began her collegiate career as a 17-year-old freshman • Battled injuries for much of the spring season appearing in three singles matches and once in doubles.
Notes: Named Athlete of the Year in tennis for her high school program at Cardinal-Roy, an honor she calls the biggest moment of her high school career • One of the top players in her age group in Quebec • Participated in three National Championships in Canada, placing 19th at the U-12 championships and later finishing 17th at the U-14 championships • Named Quebec's Player of the Year in 2006 • Placed third at both the U-16 Quebec Championship in 2008 and at the U-18 Quebec Championship in 2010 • Won five tournaments while living in France.
Personal: Born Camille Sabourin on January 25, 1994, in Quebec, Canada • Daughter of Stephan Sabourin and Katia Rioux • Is an only child • Father was a professional hockey coach, and also coached the French National Team • Mother owns a Quebec sushi restaurant which Camille helps run • Speaks French and lived for 14 years in Europe, in France and Switzerland • Hobbies include spending time with friends, listening to music, and going to the movies.
