As a Freshman in 2011
Hubbard made her debut against Albany (9/4) where she recorded two digs. She then recorded a season-high three digs in the opening contest of Pac-12 Conference play against Utah (9/13). Hubbard played in eight matches.
High School
Hubbard is a 5-10 outside hitter from Limon High School. As a junior she recorded 315 kills and 182 digs while helping the Badgers to a 9-12 season. LHS finished her senior season with an 8-15 record. She was also a member of the Front Range Volleyball Club and was coached by James Beasley.
Hubbard was a multi-sport athlete at LHS, lettering in volleyball, basketball, dance and track & field. She won the state championship in the 300-meter hurdles in 2009 and in 2010 she won the 100 hurdles. Hubbard won both the 100 and 300-hurdles in 2011. She is the school record holder in the 100 hurdles (15.14) and the 200 (26.39).
Personal
Caitlyn Hubbard was born on January 12, 1993 in Hugo, Colo. She is the daughter of Dave and Jane Hubbard of Limon, Colo. Hubbard is the youngest of five children, Jim, Brenda, Linn and Tom, who was a member of the CU football team from 2004-05 and was named the EV1.net Houston Bowl Defensive MVP in 2005. Hubbard enjoys competition and traveling.
Academics
Hubbard is interested in majoring in biology and is also interested in medicine. She is a member of the National Honor Society.
