Ellen Ribar is in her third year as a student assistant for the CU volleyball program. She assists in daily equipment duties as well as administrative duties assigned.
The Elmhurst, Ill. native played one season for the Buffs in 2009, making her debut against Florida (8/29). Ribar earned two letters as a member of the York High School volleyball team. Her team went 29-9 her senior season and 19-17 her junior year. The Dukes were regional champions in 2007 and '08 as well as the West Suburban Conference Champions in 2008).
Ribar is majoring in psychology and pre-med. She was born on September 7, 1991 and is the daughter of Greg and Marcia Ribar and has one brother, Jack. Her hobbies include playing the cello and skiing and she is fluent in Spanish.
