As a Sophomore in 2012
Todd helped the Buffs mainly in the back row, but saw some action in the front row during her sophomore outing. She played in 21 matches and started in five. In her first match as a Buff, Todd recorded a career-best four kills and three digs against Louisiana (9/8). She picked up a career-high eight kills later that evening against Sam Houston State (8/25) and then again against Northern Arizona (9/1). Todd recorded nine kills, three aces and 56 digs.
College (Navarro)
Todd transferred to CU after one season at Navarro College where she played for Kristee Porter (before Porter took the assistant job at CU). As a freshman she played in 84 sets (27 matches) and averaged 3.06 kills and 2.14 digs per set while hitting .218. Todd recorded a season-best 25 kills against Temple College and hit .647 in the match while adding five blocks and 18 digs.
High School
Todd was an outside hitter for the Longview High School Lobos and earned four letters. She was named first team all-district her sophomore through senior seasons. Todd was the co-defensive MVP, all-state honorable mention and All-East Texas as a junior. She was a member of the academic all-district team and the honor society in high school. Todd also played basketball her freshman, sophomore and junior years.
Personal
Emily Alice Todd was born on January 15, 1993 in Longview, Texas. She is the daughter of Jim and Sue Todd and has two brothers, John and Matthew. Todd enjoys hanging out with friends and watching movies.
Academics
Todd is an open major but is interested in communications and sociology.
