Taylor saw action in four matches for the Buffs. She debuted in the black and gold against Howard (9/8), helping the Buffs to a 3-0 sweep of the Bison. Taylor also saw action against Norfolk State (9/15), Washington State (10/31) and Washington (11/2).
High School
Taylor graduated from William P. Clements High School where she earned three letters on the volleyball team and earned academic excellence all four years. As a junior, Taylor was named first team all-district. She continued her success into her senior year where she was voted most outstanding offensive player of the year, first team all-district, most valuable player, and served as team captain. The Rangers won the Fort Bend District Championship in 2010 and 2011 with an undefeated 18-0 record both seasons. Taylor played under coach Chuck Schnieder for the Houston Juniors.
Personal
Erin Gray Taylor was born on August 30, 1994 in Dallas, Texas. She is the daughter of Shawn and Mychelle Taylor. Her older brother, Austin, currently plays defensive end for Harvard University. Taylor enjoys drawing in her spare time.
Academics
Taylor is an open option major with interest in communication and journalism. She owns a GPA greater than 3.00.
