As a Sophomore in 2003
Morgado appeared in one game as a sophomore, subbing in as a defensive specialist against Villanova during the 2003 Colorado Inviational. She recorded a dig on her first touch of the ball against the Wildcats. She did not dress during the second half of the season while rehabbing a foot injury.
High School
A four-year letterwinner at the libero position for coach Diana McKibben at Punahou, the Buff and Blue were the state runners-up her junior season before taking the state crown her senior campaign. She also lettered for a pair of seasons in track and field, throwing the shot put and discus. On the club side she played for Honolulu’s Kila Kila and finished third in the 1998 Disney Tournament and went on to win the 1999 Commitment Division (Davis, Calif.) title as well as Crossroads.
