Beth Kuwata is the Associate Athletic Director of Development for the Buff Club, joining the team in 2021. Her role consists of supporting CU athletics in all philanthropic activities.
She had spent the past two years as Director of Development in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University (2019-2021). She managed a portfolio of top donors and prospects focused on funding for scholarships, fellowships, capital projects and student organizations.
Before moving to West Lafayette, Kuwata spent the previous 22 years at the University of Denver. The first fifteen as Head Volleyball Coach and the last seven as an Assistant Athletic Director supporting all fundraising operations, including annual fund and major gifts.
Kuwata also held head and assistant coaching positions at the University of Wyoming and Colorado State University.
She attended the University of Denver, received a degree from Daniels College of Business, and was a varsity volleyball student-athlete. She also earned a Master of Arts degree in Sport Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
She enjoys the outdoors, watching sports, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants in her free time.
