Clarissa LaFlora joined the Herbst Academic Center as the Assistant Director of Tutoring/Academic Support in August 2022. Before coming to CU, LaFlora served as Student Academic Support Services Coordinator at North Central College. She also served as Grants Assistant for First-Generation Programs and a volunteer coach for the Women's Track and Field team.
LaFlora completed her undergraduate degree in Law, Politics, & Society, and Sociology from Drake University in 2011. While at Drake, LaFlora competed as a student-athlete for the Bulldogs on their track and field team.
LaFlora went on to earn her Law Degree at Charlotte School of Law in 2015.
Originally from Kewanee, Ill, LaFlora enjoys exploring Colorado and spending time with her family.
