Duvante Lane is the Director of Development for the Buff Club, joining the team in April 2025. In this role, Duvante focuses on major gifts fundraising and working with donors throughout the state of Colorado, Texas, and the Midwest.
Duvante comes to Boulder after spending nearly two years at the University of Louisville as Associate Director of Development for Major Gifts (2023–2025). During his time at Louisville, he played a key role in securing philanthropic support and served as the primary gift officer for Indiana, Eastern Kentucky and the Carolinas.
Before his time at Louisville, Duvante spent time at the University of Memphis as the Director of Leadership Giving (2022–2023), where he managed a portfolio of leadership-level donors and helped drive fundraising strategy. He also held previous roles at the University of Maryland as Assistant Director of Business Operations (2021–2022) and earlier served in development positions at the University of Tennessee and Butler University.
Duvante is former all-conference running back at Butler University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Movement and Health Science Education. He went on to complete a master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Indianapolis, where he also served as a graduate assistant in compliance and business operations.
Originally from Evansville, IN, Duvante enjoys supporting Indiana’s professional sports teams, staying active, and spending quality time with family and friends.
