Ken Klingler was recently promoted to Associate Ticket Manager after having served seven years as assistant ticket manager at the University of Colorado and having served 14 years overall at CU since he joined the department in 1995 as a ticketing assistant.

Klingler, 45, came to CU from the Denver Reception & Diagnostic Center, where he was a medical records clerk for nearly three years. He also had a similar position for 18 months with Denver General Hospital.

He was in the U.S. Marine Corps for seven-and-a-half years, attaining the rank of sergeant. While a Marine, he was stationed in Misawa, Japan, Monterrey, Calif., and a tour of the Mediterranean.Â

Born in Leavenworth, Kan., he graduated from Blytheville (Ark.) High School. His hobbies include home brewing, stamp collecting, music, reading and old movies.
