- Hower joined the Buffs in December 2021
- Named Colorado's Basketball Strategy and Roster Management, Assistant Coach ahead of the 2025-26 season
- Started as of Director of Basketball Operations
- Elevated to assistant coach before the 2023-24 season
- Assisted Colorado to a 104-52 (.667) record
Before Colorado- He comes to CU from Fort Collins High School, where he was head coach of the Lambkins’ girls’ varsity basketball team from 2016-21.
- Also helped develop some of the top basketball players in northern Colorado as the head coach of the State 38 U17 Elite in 2020.
- Coaching resume also includes time with USA Basketball (U19 men’s and women’s team training camps)
- Also served as a varsity assistant coach for the Fort Collins boys’ basketball team
- JV boy’s head coach from 2012-16.
