Carly Herm was named the Events Operations and Guest Relations Program Manager for the Facility and Event Operations department at the University of Colorado in August 2018 after serving as a both an intern and Facilities and Operations Coordinator for the Department the previous year.
She joined the Buffs from Mississippi State, where was an honors graduate and earned both a bachelor's degree and master's degree in Mathematics. She was named the Mississippi State Department of Recreational Sports Employee of the Year in 2015 and interned with the MSU athletic department in event operations from 2016-18 and was involved in hosting the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament in both 2017 and 2018.
She was honored by the Buffs during Women's History Month as the first female event operations manager at Colorado and helped create the Guest Relations program for CU.
A native of Jackson, Miss., she attended Jackson Prep High School where she was involved in fine arts, theater, and the show choir. She enjoys reading, going to breweries and off-roading in the mountains. She can speak Spanish, enjoys singing and has visited 13 countries.
