Despite a loss for the Buffs, DJ McKinney shined in the first game for Colorado this year.
- He had an interception for his third straight game and fourth in the last five dating back to last season.
- After not recording an interception in the first nine games last year, he now has four in his last five games as a Buff.
- The three straight games with an interception matches the school record and he's the third player to accomplish the feat, but first in over 40 years.
