- Rebec found an impressive upset at the No. 3 spot, giving the Buffs a 3-2 lead.
- She downed No. 22 Nijkamp, in quick 6-2, 6-4, straight sets.
- She marked her first ranked win of the season.
- Rebec also recorded her 18th singles victory of the season, and 41st of her career.
