FORT COLLINS, Colo. - David Harrison had 15 points and six rebounds, and his brother D.J. Harrison added 14 points and eight rebounds as Colorado defeated Colorado State 75-70 Wednesday night.

The win snapped the Buffaloes' five-game winless streak on the Rams' court.

Mookie Wilson also had 14 points and was 9-for-10 from the free throw line for Colorado (4-2), which is 4-8 on its instate rival's home court. Colorado hadn't won here since Dec. 28, 1991.

Brian Greene led Colorado State (4-4) with 27 points and nine rebounds. The Rams had 11 turnovers and lost their fourth straight game.

Chevis Brimmer gave Colorado its biggest lead, 55-41, with a 3-pointer at the midway point of the second half. Greene, who had 20 of Colorado State's 44 second-half points, brought his team back within 59-53 with seven points over a four-minute stretch.

Greene's layup off a steal cut the Rams' deficit to 63-56 with 2:53 left. The Buffs hit seven free throws, two each by Wright and Blair Wilson, while Colorado State missed four straight shots.

Colorado led 35-26 at halftime, but Colorado State controlled play early in the second half and led 16-12 before D.J. Harrison, who had 10 points by halftime, started a 10-0 run for Colorado with a 3-pointer.
