BOULDER - Sabrina Scott had 16 points and nine rebounds, Kate Fagan had 13 points and Colorado routed Nebraska 74-54 Tuesday night.

Colorado (12-2, 2-1 Big 12), coming off the worst scoring and shooting performance in its history in a 61-36 loss to No. 4 Kansas State on Saturday, blew out the Cornhuskers in the second half.

Outscoring Nebraska 20-4 to start the second half - including a 12-0 run - the Buffaloes built a 59-36 lead with 11:40 remaining.

Nebraska (7-6, 0-2) got no closer than 16 points after that in suffering its fourth consecutive loss.

Alexa Johnson led Nebraska with 15 points. Amanda Cleveland had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Colorado, beating Nebraska for the sixth straight time and the 19th straight time in Boulder, shot 41 percent compared with Nebraska's 31 percent. The Huskers shot just 19 percent (5-for-26) in the second half.

Colorado's bench outscored Nebraska's bench 28-6.

Scott scored Colorado's last seven points of the first half, helping the Buffaloes take a 39-32 lead at intermission.

Margaret Richards' steal and layup put the Cornhuskers ahead 25-22 with 7:09 left, but Colorado countered with an 8-0 run, including 3-pointers by Fagan and Linda Lappe.

Shahidrah Roberts, who had 10 points in the half, hit a baseline jumper to cut the lead to 30-29, but Colorado's Amber Metoyer followed with a short jumper and Scott with a layup.

After Roberts' 3-pointer made it 34-32 with 2:13 left, Scott hit a 3-point basket and then made a driving layup to account for the seven-point halftime lead.

Richards, Nebraska's second-leading scorer, picked up her fourth foul just one second in the second half and sat out the next eight minutes. By the time she returned, the Huskers trailed 57-36.

Scott ignited Colorado's 12-0 flurry with a driving layup and added a 3-pointer. Fagan had a 3-pointer and two free throws, and the Huskers never recovered.

Fagan's driving layup gave Colorado its biggest lead, 63-39, with 7:27 to go.
