Colorado vs. Harvard Notes
November 22, 2003 | Women's Basketball
-Tera Bjorklund played in her 100th game at Colorado and it was a memorable one. Her 33 points were just one off her career high of 34 (North Carolina) and included a 12-14 performance from the floor and 9-9 from the free throw line. It is not only her third 30+ effort of her career, it's her third in the last eight games dating back to the Big 12 Tournament last season. Bjorklund also passed Diane Hiemstra for 10th place on CU's career scoring chart, and is now tied with Mandy Nightingale (1,386) for ninth place.
-Kate Fagan set a new career high with 23 points. She hit seven threes in the process, tying the school record set by Annan Wilson in 1989.
-Amber Metoyer grabbed a game high nine rebounds, a new career high.
-Randie Wirt will play her 100th career game for the Buffaloes on Sunday afternoon against No. 13 Minnesota.
-This marks the second-straight game that Colorado has had to overcome a double digit deficit to win. Against Notre Dame, the Buffs trailed by as many as 12, tonight it was 15.
