COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Colorado survived a second half scare after leading by 17 points at halftime and had 14 points from Kate Fagan and 12 from Tera Bjorklund as the Buffaloes defeated Texas A&M on Saturday.

The Aggies (9-11, 2-7 Big 12) were down by as much as 22 in the second half, but cut the deficit to 53-49 with 39 seconds left in the game. Texas A&M outscored Colorado, 29-18, in the second half.

The Buffaloes (17-4, 7-3 Big 12) shot 57 percent from the floor in the first half, but dropped to 35 percent in the second.

Tocarra Williams scored 19 points and had seven steals on the day for the Aggies, who turned 12 Colorado turnovers into 15 points.

The Buffaloes also got 11 points from Sabrina Scott and 10 rebounds from Linda Lappe.

Colorado has a week off before they take on nationally ranked Oklahoma at the Coors Events Center on Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. The game will also be televised on ESPN 2.
