MBB Assistant Coach Gay Resigns

BOULDER - University of Colorado men's basketball assistant coach Larry Gay has resigned from his position announced Friday by head coach Ricardo Patton.
"Larry will be resigning as of June 30 to pursue other coaching endeavors," said Patton.
Gay was an assistant coach with Colorado for the last three years helping the Buffaloes to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1996-97. CU finished 20-12 this past season and was 50-41 over the last three.
The search for a new assistant coach will begin immediately.
