LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - Emily Waner had 12 points - all on 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc - and Kate Fagan added 12 to lead No. 15 Colorado over Kansas 59-49 Tuesday night.

Colorado (13-2, 2-1 Big 12) used a 12-4 run to a 32-22 lead early in the second half. Waner capped the run with a 3-pointer.

After Colorado led 48-33, Kansas began its comeback. The Jayhawks (8-6, 1-2) had a 12-2 run highlighted by a 3-pointer from Erica Hallman that cut the lead to eight. Hallman hit a free-throw after a basket by Crystal Kemp, cutting the Buffs' lead to 50-45.

Fagan hit a 3-pointer on Colorado's next possession. Kansas got back within six points, but a basket by Fagan and two free throws by Randie Wirt sealed the victory.

Wirt added 10 points and eight rebounds for Colorado.

Tera Bjorklund, who averages 20.2 points, had only 9 points but 15 rebounds for Colorado.

Kansas was lead by Kemp with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Aquanita Burras chipped in with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Lauren Ervin had 10 points and nine rebounds.

Colorado shot only 25 percent in the first half, but made 45 percent after the break and 34 percent overall. Kansas shot 31 percent.
