CEAL BARRY TO BE INDUCTED INTO HER HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME

BOULDER -- Colorado head women's basketball coach Ceal Barry will be inducted into the inaugural class of the Assumption High School Athletic Hall of Fame on Sunday, Oct. 24, in Louisville, Ky.
Barry graduated from Assumption High School in 1973 where she played basketball, volleyball, field hockey and track. She earned the "White A" Award given to student-athletes who compete in a varsity sport for four years, and was named the "Best All-Around" award winner as a senior. She went on to play basketball at the University of Kentucky, and was in the first class of women's basketball players to receive an athletic scholarship at Kentucky as a senior in 1976.
Barry is beginning her 26th season as a collegiate head coach, and her 22nd at Colorado. She has led the Buffs to a 418-223 record in her 21 seasons in Boulder including 12 NCAA Tournament appearances.
