BUFFALOES FALL TO NO. 14 A&M IN THREE

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- No. 14 Texas A&M swept Colorado 30-24, 30-23, 30-22 in Big 12 Conference play Sunday afternoon at G. Rollie White Coliseum.
The Buffaloes now own a .500 record at 11-11 overall and are 6-9 in the Big 12, remaining in sixth place in the conference standings. Texas A&M improves to 16-5 on the season and 12-3 in Big 12 play.
Texas A&M was led by senior All-American Melissa Munsch who led the Aggies in kills with 13, in blocks with seven, and aces with four.
Colorado had a hitting percentage of just .178 compared to Texas A&M's .336. Colorado's attack was led by junior outside hitter Allie Griffin as she finished with a match high 14 kills. Griffin also recorded 10 digs for the double-double.
Junior outside hitter Nicole Carr also recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs. It was her fifth double-double of the year. Sophomore middle Lara Bossow had seven kills while freshman outside Amber Sutherland notched a career-best six kills.
Colorado will continue Big 12 play when they face the 18th ranked Kansas State Wildcats on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. MST at the Ahearn Field House in Manhattan, Kansas.
