NO. 2 HAWAII ENDS COLORADO'S SEASON IN FOUR

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- No. 2 Hawai'i ended Colorado's season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a 24-30, 30-22, 30-20, 30-24 win at Moby Arena on the Colorado State University campus Thursday night.
Colorado finishes the 2004 campaign at 14-14. Hawaii, 29-0 overall, will play Purdue in tomorrow's second round with the winner heading on to the Sweet 16 in Green Bay, Wis., Dec. 10-11.
Lara Bossow, Nicole Carr and Allie Griffin each had 14 kills for the Buffaloes who were participating in their 14th NCAA Tournament and 13th in the past 14 seasons. Austin Zimmerman had seven kills and a game-high 15 digs. Bossow led the Buffaloes in blocking with six.
Susie Boogaard led Hawai'i with a match-high 16 kills. Alicia Arnott and Kanoe Kamana'o each had 14 digs.
Colorado hit a solid .395 in game one en route to the six point win but hit just .127 over the final three games. The Buffs were also bit by the serving bug commiting 13 service errors.
