  • Tonight was the first time CU has scored 40 points in the first half this season and the fourth time leading going into halftime.
  • Tonight was the second time this season the Buffs shot above 40 percent from the first half from the field (Wyoming).
  • CU broke away with a 13-4 run at the beginning of the second half. It started with a Jackie McFarland layup at 19:16 and finished with a Jasmina Ilic layup on a fast break pushing the score to 55-44 with 14:32 remaining
  • Kara Richards recorded a career high with 16 points
  • Veronica Johns-Richardson tied a career-high with 16 points. She has scored 16 on two other occaisions, both coming last season (at Iowa State & vs. Idaho State)
  • Colorado had five players score in double digits for the first time in 2004-05.
  • Tonight's 83 points are the most by the Buffs this season and is the most points scored in the Colorado-Colorado State series since 1989 when the Buffs won 91-61 in Boulder.
  • Colorado held Colorado State without an offensive rebound for a 23-minute span in the first and second halfs. CU outrebounded the Rams 35-30, its first win in the battle of the boards in four games.
