BOULDER, Colo. -- Jackie McFarland scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds but it was not enough as No. 13 Texas Tech beat Colorado 87-41 Saturday night at the Coors Events Conference Center.
Alesha Robertson scored 27 points and Chesley Dabbs had a career-high 22 for the Lady Raiders.
Cisti Greenwalt added 12 points and LaToya Davis had 10 for Texas Tech (12-3, 4-0 Big 12 Conference). The Lady Raiders limited Colorado to 31 percent shooting in winning their seventh straight and posting their most lopsided win over the Buffaloes.
"We have so much respect for Colorado. They have a lot of young players in a tough confrence. We will alway be excited about a win over Colorado because they are a great program," Texas Tech Head Coach Marsha Sharp said.
Colorado used an 8-0 run in the first two minutes of the second period to cut a 17-point halftime deficit to 39-28. However the Lady Raiders responded with a 32-3 run over the next 14:07 to put the game out of reach. The loss was the third largest at the CECC in team history.
Jasmina Ilic and Kara Richards both scored nine points for Colorado (7-7, 0-3 Big 12).
"I was surprised by how we played, we did not take the floor with authority, they scored on their first three possessions and that is unacceptable," Colorado Head Coach Ceal Barry said.
