COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Dominque Kirk hit a jumper with eight seconds left and Martellus Bennett added two free throws with a second left to give Texas A&M a 61-58 victory over Colorado Wednesday night.

The Buffaloes opened the game trailing 13-0 in the first six minutes, but quickly picked up the pace and battled back with a 26-12 run to take the lead, 26-25, at the half.

Acie Law IV scored 19 points, including nine in a 15-5 run that tied the game at 45-45 with 7:16 left. Law hit two jumpers, a 3-pointer and two free throws during the run. Josh Carter and Chris Walker also hit 3-pointers in that stretch.

The Aggies (14-7, 4-6 Big 12) pulled out to a seven-point lead on a 3-pointer by Walker with 3:45 left, but Colorado (15-5, 5-4) tied the game twice more down the stretch and went ahead by one at 58-57 on a free throw by Marcus Hall with 49 seconds left.

The Aggies got the ball on a turnover and Kirk hit the go-ahead jumper. The Buffs missed a free throw with a second left and Bennett responded with two free throws for the final margin.

Walker finished with 11 points.
