Colorado drops its 22nd straight game against a ranked opponent dating back to a 69-59 decision over No. 24 Baylor on Jan. 7, 2004.  Baylor won its 31st straight game against an unranked opponent.

 

Colorado falls to 10-5 at home this season with four of the five setbacks coming against ranked opponents. (#16/15 Vanderbilt, #7/6 Oklahoma, #21 Nebraska, #14 Baylor).

 

Baylor cuts the Colorado lead in the series to 8-7 all-time, 5-3 in Boulder.

 

Colorado falls to 0-10 when its opponent reaches 70 points. The Buffs are 11-5 when opponents score under 70.

 

Colorado's 16 assists were its most since recording 18 in the win over Iowa State on Jan. 10.

 

Colorado sophomore Kara Richards recorded her second career double-double finishing with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Her 22 points ties a season high, equaling her output in the season opener against San Francisco. It is just her third double-digit scoring effort in Big 12 play and only the second in the last 12bconference games. Her 10 field goals are a career high.

 

Richards scored 14 straight points for the Buffaloes spanning the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half.

 

Jackie McFarland had 10 rebounds to move in to sole possession of fifth place on Colorado's all-time rebounding list. She now has 729 through 83 career games.

 

McFarland also had 20 points to notch her 16th double-double of the season, second in the Big 12, and fourth on CU's single season list. It is the 35th double-double of her career and her 36th double-digit rebounding performance, both marks ranking third all time on the Buffs' charts.
