Volleyball Hits Road Against Iowa State and Texas A&M

BOULDER - The University of Colorado volleyball team will hit the road for a pair of Big 12 contests against Iowa State and Texas A&M this week.
Colorado will face Iowa State on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Ames, Iowa. The match against Texas A&M will start at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22 in College Station, Texas.
The Buffs are currently 12-13 overall and are 6-10 in the Big 12 with four matches remaining.
Iowa State is receiving votes in the Bison/AVCA Division I Coaches Poll. The Cyclones are 16-11 overall and are 8-8 in the Big 12.
Victoria Henson leads Iowa State with 4.07 kills per set. Jen Malcom is attacking at a team-high .378 while putting up a team-best 1.16 blocks per set. On defense, Ashley Mass leads the way with 4.97 digs per set.
Texas A&M is sporting a record of 12-14 overall and 7-9 in the league.
The Aggies are led by Mary Batis. She is averaging 3.36 kills and 2.77 digs per set. Darla Donaldson is attacking at a .263 clip. Colorado native Sarah Ammerman is leading the team with 19 aces this season.
